Hey, I'm Tobias 👋

I'm a french student who like programming a lot, especially video games, softwares or some small hacking stuff just for fun. And I'm :

• 👨‍🎓 currently in my final year studying Computer Science Engineering at University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard in France 🇫🇷
• 🚀 actively seeking a six-month internship to culminate my studies, ideally within the video game industry.

Convergence's projects

I absolutely adore Convergence, a cinematic platformer that captivated me so much I was driven to elevate its experience. ConvergenceToolbox aims to provide several tools and features to enhance his speedrunning experience. And ConvergeceRandomizer is a room randomizer currently under development. Both uses a mono injector to inject Gameobject into this Unity game.

Amuri

It is a puzzle platformer game made during a Game Jam with the theme :

Every death is meaningful

In the game, you assume the role of Amuri, a young girl on a quest to find her father. To progress through the levels, you must skillfully switch between the real world and the dream world.

Glimmer

Also done during a game jam. This time we had to take inspiration from a thesis of a doctoral student or researcher. We chose the thesis on optical ring resonators from a poetic point of view of the theme. You play as Glim, a photon trapped in an optical ring resonator who will therefore try to escape.

Badevel Data Hub

This Unity project belongs to an overall energy transition project for the city of Badevel. This program aims to provide a digital twin of the city, with 3D modeling and live visualization of data from electronic boards (ESP32). It includes a complete architecture with a NodeJS backend, a Cassandra database and an Unity executable.

Add a persistent checkpoint system

• Be able to load last checkpoint through script without restarting the game
• Respawn to not last checkpoint
• Set current checkpoint to persistent
• Load persistent
• Save persistent in file system
• Set saved checkpoint to persistent
• Autoload on death

Autosplit don't stop timer after FE3

Checkboxes should not be on the top left corner (LS location)

• Move it on top of rewind and health hud
  OR
• On bottom left during pause menu

Provide a wiki page to explain how the application works in general

It should explain

• the code injection into mono
• how i interact with Convergence
• how i interact with LS Server

Restart the game from pause menu stops RTA

If you're on the pause menu and press Restart from last checkpoint, both timer will be stopped during the loading screen instead of just IGT.

Autosplit sometimes pauses the timer when not needed

This happens especially when using Chronobreak, and in some cutscenes and talks.

Replace Class inheriting from MonoBehavior

Disabling godmode should remove every cheats

Provide a video tutorial on how to install CTB, and use the AS

Use IGT command to handle loading screen time

Having two timer, one with loading screen, one without. So we have two way of comparing the run. And no one is exclude
