adjacency-matrix-maker's Issues

How do you use adjacency matrix?

Hello,

I am wondering how to use adjacency matrix of notes connectivity? When do you use it?
I understand that one row is one note. All dots in a row is connection of this note to other notes, right?
If I see a cloud of dots on the matrix, does it mean something? Because it seems some of these clouds consist from unrelated notes.

Feature request : Save adjacency matrix in a standard data table/format ?

Hi SkepticMystic,

Recently, i runned a Google research with "adjacency matrix" and "Obsidian" as keywords, and naturally stumble on this plugin of yours, which i missed into the app plugin browser : Thanks for making this feature available, this is very interesting !

As i would need it quite soon in the near future, for professional foresight use, my initial research was to know if there would be a way to convert an Obsidian graph into an adjacency matrix.. but the latter one having numbers instead of colors :)

i.e. from something like this:

Prospective Graphe

to something like this:

Prospective Table

Would you think this could be quite quickly implementable into the Save options of your plugin, like into .csv or some standard equivalent ??

Thanks for your feedback, and have a good One,

Damien

[Feature Request] Show folder names in image

Hi @SkepticMystic!
First of all, I really enjoy using this plugin. It is always a joy to see the adjacency matrix of my vault.

Now to the feature request. I always have the option to show folders as squares enabled but I am having a hard time to differentiate the folders in the final image. Would it be possible to show a small text at each "folder square" (for example in the top left corner of the square) with the name of the corresponding folder?
I guess with a high enough resolution set in the settings, the text should be readable (especially for the bigger squares with lots of notes in them).

Thank you,
Marc Julian

View of related documents

Would it be possible to provide a new view, linked to a document pane, of the most closely related documents?

It would be an interesting feature.
