ASCII-Chess-Game

This is a C++ ascii chess game for two players.

Still needs:

Text color to differentiate white from black Detection of pieces in between initial position and destination position for movements i.e. the program doesn't have functionality to check if pieces are in between the movement directions. Castling code Check/Checkmate/Stalemate code

Perhaps it's easier to use uppercase letters for white and lowercase letters for black instead of fancy colors.

Code in .h file?

Hey Nixonite! Just saw a link to this repo in an old reddit thread. I'm not writing much cpp and wondered why the code for most things is in .h files instead of .cpp files. I thought that (except for well exceptions) declarations should go into .h files and definitions/actual code into .cpp files?
