Plant ID course - tools for publishing new taxa and herbarium management

This repository provides the program, handouts, copyright-free presentations, and certificates of the "Plant Identification course, tools for publishing new taxa, and herbarium management" which took place in February 19-23, 2018 - Tunja, Colombia. This course was organized jointly by Royal Botanic Gardens Kew (UK) and Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, and it was funded by the Newton Foundation (UK). Coordinators and instructors are listed as follows:

Presentations are stored in the folder "PPT", and are arranged by family/order names, topics (e.g. "Orchids_etc", "Cyperaceae_etc", "PracticasHerbario_etc"). Certificates are arranged by last and first names of each participant (e.g. "Pinzon_Cynthia_certificate.pdf"). Handouts are stored in the folder "Handouts". The content of each folder is described on the files "ppt_list.md" and "handouts_list.md". To download all content of this repository, please make click in "clone or download" (all files of the recpository will be downloaded in a zip file).

Este repositorio incluye el programa, manuales, las presentaciones libres de copyright, y los certificados del curso "Identificación de plantas, herramientas para la publicacion de nuevas especies, y buenas practicas de manejo de herbario", celebrado en Tunja los días 19 al 23 de Febrero, 2018. Este curso fue organizado conjuntamente por el real jardín botánico de Kew (UK) y la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia, y fue financiado por la fundación Newton (UK). Coordinadores e instructores del curso estan listados a continuación:

Los manuales están almacenados en la carpeta "Handouts". El contenido de cada carpeta aparece relacionado en los archivos "ppt_list.md" y "handouts_list.md". Los certificados estan nombrados por el apellido y el primer nombre de cada parcitipante (e.g. "Pinzon_Cynthia_certificate.pdf"). Para descargar todo el contenido de este repositorio, por favor hacer click en "clone or download" (todos los archivos incluidos en el repo serán descargados en un archivo zip).
