broccoli-nunjucks's Introduction

broccoli-nunjucks

Precompile Nunjucks templates

Issues with the output should be reported on the Nunjucks issue tracker.

Install

$ npm install --save-dev broccoli-nunjucks

Usage

var nunjucks = require('broccoli-nunjucks');
tree = nunjucks(tree, options);

API

nunjucks(tree, [options])

Same options as nunjucks.precompile() except for name.

options.name

Type: function
Default: Relative template path. Example: templates/list.html

You can override the default behavior by supplying a function which gets the relative path and is expected to return the name.

Example:

nunjucks(tree, {
	name: function (relativePath) {
		return 'tpl-' + relativePath;
	}
});

broccoli-nunjucks's Issues

Option to render rather than precompile

I run a website that serves static content. Precompiling doesn't really fit the bill here, I need to compile a nunjucks .html file back into html. I think adding an options.type and checking for render, precompile or if null assume precompile would work pretty well.

I don't think it would be too difficult to fit render into this project. I've written a nunjucks renderer for Brunch, so if you don't take up the task I might give it a shot.
