Why enforcing node>=6?

I'm using this modules in some projects in production and I'm sticking with nodejs 4 until node 6 becomes LTS in October. Is there any reason to lock to node 6 just now?

Time complexity of the algorithm

Would you be okay with adding something to the README stating what the time complexity of the algorithm is? My understanding from looking at the code is that it's O(n log n), but I'm not sure if that's correct.
