Latex doesn't render correctly

Latex will not render correctly when inserted $$<--latex-->$$, however Latex renders correctly in Editor.md. An example can be seen on the live demo here https://pandao.github.io/editor.md/en.html . Has some change been made that prevents this from working?

Can't choose repository

I am unable to use this tool to post to my blog because it's stored in a separate repo from plazmaz.github.io.

Apostrophes render with added indentation

For some reason whenever I type an apostrophe('), it renders with multiple spaces(maybe a tab?) afterwards. For instance,
