First of all - thanks for your awesome apps! 👍
Unfortunately, changing the icon color doesn't work for me. Using Contacts, Gallery and Filemanager.
All installed via Playstore - i doubt installing via F-Droid would make a difference?
Reboot doesn't help.
Also, the shared theme only partly works (have to go into each app and change to another theme and back to shared to have the changes take effect) - maybe related?
Using Resurrection Remix 6.2 (Android 8.1) on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Launcher is Trebuchet.
Let me know what you need for further troubleshooting :)

Allow us to input color values for background, icon, and primary colors

Wrong backgroup color for the menu on top right.

When I activate the theme (Black and White), everything is ok except the background on the menu on the top right where you have generally Parameters / About notably. The background is dark grey not black.

The problem occurs on all the apps (on pro one, it is dark gray, on some not pro app it was white).

Thank you for the amazing work you made, I just discovered because they are available in f-droid and I want to have open source apps for some critical apps and you made a fantastic job (I bought all).

If there's no metadata that matches current locale (eg. ro-RO), F-Droid tries to use en-US but if that's not available either it will show first metadata language code found eg. Arabic

The App should be Build withe API 24 and have to support the Android-N multiwindow view.

Hello, as the application concerns all apps I did not know on which repository to create the issue.

Context:
I got used to a lot of apps with an OLED theme.
So black #000 on the background and on the header.

To change the color of the header in SimpleApps you have to change the main color.

Problem :
Except that black on black, it makes the titles and toggle invisible...

Solution idea :
Would it be possible to add a checkbox so that the header uses the background color and not the main color?
I think that this option would make usable an OLED theme and would allow to put a bright color in main color !

I'm a regular user of your applications, and I highly appreciate them.

I'm opening this issue and Simple Thank You as a general issue for Simple Mobile Tools.

I've always thought that the apps where a little too heavy for what they are. For instance, the Simple Thank You APK weights 7.3 MB, while having no practical use.

The Simple Calculator weights 7.3 MB as well, while other calculators are able to cut the size, sometimes more than half:

As a fun trivia, there's also an emulator of a scientific calculator, com.cax.pmk.ext, that weights only 270 kB.

Saving on space would reduce download time, bandwidth usage, and phone storage space. I'm not an Android expert, but I'm sure that something can be done to cut down some space, while keeping the same software quality.

I'm using the clock app for a while now, but not daily. Also when the phone is in vibration-mode.
A few weeks ago it appeared, when setting an alarm, 2 ringtones rang. It made no difference, when I set a different ringtone in the app. Always 2 ringtones at one time. (Maybe it was because the default ringtone in phone settings was different than the one I chose in the app for the alarm I set. This was my guess today.)
After changing the ringtone today, in vibration-mode there wouldn't come any sound for an "alarm" at all, just vibration. On the other hand when setting a "timer" in vibration-mode there is sound.
I deleted all alarms and tried again with ne alarms. No sound. I deinstalled the app, rebooted the phone, installed the app and tried again. Same issue. No ringtone sound in vibration-mode, just vibration.
When phone is in sound-mode, there is a ringtone sound for alarms.

I tried with another clock app (not simple mobile tools). It plays ringtone sound while vibration-mode.

Any chance to get a ringtone sound while vibration-mode (back)?

It's quite popular in the privacy community which I think a large amount of your users are part of.
I really think Monero has a bright future as it's one of the best cryptocurrencies if not the best from a technical point. Also it officially released in 2014 so it's 8 years old, not a new crypto with no purpose of existing :P

When I perform these sequences of events, the dialog disappears on-screen rotation:

1. Go to the Main activity
2. Tap in Settings (gear button icon)
3. Tap in Customize colors
4. Tap in Background color
5. A fragment similar to this will appear:

4. Force the pause from the activity and then return to the activity (double rotation). Note that the fragment disappears. Note: the pause from activity can be performed in several ways. We suggest using a double rotation (starts in portrait, goes to landscape, and back to portrait) with this function previously enabled in the smartphone.

The expected behavior is the return to the previous state with the fragments of the previous image.

However, the fragment disappears.
