It should be used to see if a show/movie has been looked up on TMDB.

Since most browsers only support MP4, I need to convert any video file that's not an MP4 to MP4.

After encoding the chunks to all the resolutions and bitrates desired, generate the MPD file so the video player knows how to access each portion using the information found at https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Apps/Fundamentals/Audio_and_video_delivery/Setting_up_adaptive_streaming_media_sources and https://www.npmjs.com/package/xmlbuilder

The DASH spec for an MPD requires an initialization segment for metadata (probably) but since it's in a binary format, it's difficult to reverse engineer.

Currently, the only flag available when watching directories are when a file is added. I need to know when a file is updated or deleted and reflect the changes inside the database.

When choosing a movie or show from TMDB, it currently chooses the first result from the search. In the future, it should bring the user to a page and let the user pick which one was the correct one.
