GUI Debug tools creates an infinite loop with a self advancing unit

A self-advancing unit is probably a bug, but GUI Debug Tools shouldn't hang Wesnoth because of it.

How to reproduce:

  • Open this savegame and use Unit Debug with Vlad (the enemy leader)
  • Wesnoth freezes

This units has been fixed on LOTI and it doesn't advance itself anymore (fixed here Dugy/Legend_of_the_Invincibles#479), but it would be nice to make GUI debug tools tolerant of this situation.

Units advancing twice or more times when adding experience

Also, the experience is reset to 0. The number of times the unit level up depends on the experience added, but not respect the exact quantity. I don't know what is happen, really, but probably because are there advance events involved. There is more addons (Advanced Wesnot Wars), but all works well with any other way of experience gaining, only do problems with GUI Debug Tools way of adding experience.
