Project for Training under BYTE Program. This program helps teacher and student connect over a portal.

Konnect is a Single Page Application built on Angular that connects a college with their students over a portal. Konnect makes administration and running of college a breeze for college admins as well as faculties managing their students. This project was made under the BYTE Intership Training Period as my End-to-End Case Study Project.

Features

Using this portal, one can enjoy the following features:

• Security - All routes are secured with JWT and passwords are hashed.
• My Profile - Be aware of the data shared with the college and edit them on the go.
• Announcements - Stay up-to-date with all the recent happenings in your college with announcements.
• Faculty Information - Enquire about any faculty you like and you'll be in touch with them in no time
• Student Info - The database stores all the information about their students neccessary for the college.
• Classrooms - A page for the faculty to summarise all their classes at one place to make managment much simpler.
• Contact Support - Get in touch with help whenever you need it!

Role Management

The website offers 3 role, viz. Admin, Faculty and Student. Following are the features provided to each:

Admin

1. Manage own profile
2. Manage all Faculty or Student information
3. Manage all Announcements
4. Manage Classrooms with Faculty and Students

Faculty

1. Manage own profile
2. View all announcements
3. View other faculty information
4. Manage own classrooms
5. Upload Assignment questions for their classes
6. View students' answers
7. Upload and Update Marks for the students

Student

1. Manage own profile
2. View all announcements
3. View all faculty information
4. View assigned assignments
5. View marks scored in various subjects

Running the Project

Prerequisites:

1. Git
2. node (npm)
3. Angular 6+
4. Angular CLI

Running the Project

git clone https://github.com/shubhankarshankar/Konnect.git
npm i
ng serve

The project will run on http://locahost:4200/ by deault.
