Issue: Image Upload Functionality Not Working

screen-2023-07-04-03-00-00

Description:
The image upload functionality on the project is currently not working as expected. When attempting to upload an image, users encounter errors or the upload process fails. This issue prevents users from successfully uploading images, limiting the functionality and usability of the application.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open the project and navigate to the upload image feature.
Click on the upload button or select an image file.
Observe the behavior and any error messages encountered.
Expected Behavior:
Upon selecting an image file and initiating the upload process, the image should be successfully uploaded and associated with the appropriate record or location within the project. Users should not encounter any errors or failures during the upload process.

Actual Behavior:
Instead of successfully uploading the image, users are facing one or more of the following issues:

The upload process hangs indefinitely without completing.
An error message is displayed, indicating a failure to upload the image.
The uploaded image appears corrupted or distorted.
The uploaded image does not associate with the intended record or location.
Additional Information:

This issue has been consistently observed across different browsers and devices.
The project is built using [provide details of the programming language(s), framework(s), and libraries used].
No recent changes or updates have been made to the image upload functionality.
Other features and functionalities of the project are working as expected.
Possible Causes:
Based on initial investigation, the following could be potential causes of the issue:

A server-side error or misconfiguration related to image file handling.
A bug or issue within the front-end or back-end code responsible for handling image uploads.
Incompatibility issues with the image file formats or sizes.
Insufficient permissions or access rights to write files on the server.
Proposed Solution:
To resolve this issue, the following steps can be taken:

Verify the server-side configuration and ensure that it properly handles image file uploads.
Review the front-end and back-end code related to image uploads for any bugs or issues.
Check for any recent changes or updates that could have caused this problem.
Test different image file formats and sizes to identify any incompatibility issues.
Verify the permissions and access rights for the server to write files.
It would be beneficial to assign this issue to a developer who is familiar with the project's codebase and has experience working with image upload functionalities.
