Java Programming Basics This repository contains a Java program that covers all the basics of programming, suitable for beginners who are new to Java or programming in general.

Getting Started

To run the program, you need to have Java Development Kit (JDK) installed on your system. You can download and install it from the official Oracle website: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase-downloads.html

Once you have installed the JDK, you can clone this repository and navigate to the project directory:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/java-programming-basics.git
cd java-programming-basics

Then, compile and run the program using the following commands:

javac Main.java
java Main

The program should start and display a series of prompts and outputs that demonstrate the basics of Java programming.

Program Overview

The Java program in this repository covers the following topics:

  • Variables and Data Types: how to declare and use different types of variables, such as integers, doubles, booleans, and strings.

  • Operators: how to use arithmetic, comparison, and logical operators to perform calculations and make decisions.

  • Control Structures: how to use if-else statements and loops to control the flow of a program.

  • Arrays: how to declare and use arrays to store and manipulate multiple values.

  • Methods: how to declare and use methods to organize and reuse code.

  • Classes and Objects: how to define and use classes and objects to model real-world concepts and behaviors.

  • Input and Output: how to read and write data from and to the console using the Scanner and System classes.

  • Exception Handling: how to handle errors and exceptions that may occur during the execution of a program.

Each topic is demonstrated through a series of examples and exercises, with explanations and comments to help you understand the code.
