Think a sticky nav on the left or right would suit better than the top given the variable length of content for each month.

Currently referencing the raw .css file that we've compiled with our own tweaks and removing code we don't need.

Have yet to check this out on iPads and other large handheld devices...

Month and content gets hidden behind the navbar when you use the skiplinks and the Bootstrap trick of putting padding on the body doesn't seem to fix it :(

Any way to add active states to the links on it as you move down the page?

Tagline doesn't disappear when you scroll on iOS. I've tested out using the touchmove event listener instead and that works but I'm guessing there's a bunch of other stuff to be tweaked to work for iOS like how it works out when you've scrolled far enough to trigger change etc.

Without a license, this project isn't open source and no one can use the code.

Please use something like http://choosealicense.com/ to decide what license to use. I recommend MIT or GPL.
