Check out CombineFirebase, that might be more appropriate here, since it will be more consistent with your auth+combine pattern.

I understand it's anonymous login, is this why the db is not getting synced up?

Could there be a feature to create separate Achievements, and tasks inside of each to accomplish to 100%? For instance, a shopping list with grocery tasks/items inside, or a different project list, with project tasks inside
