Page needs formatting and new layout to reflect / have more of a homepage look and be brand compliant – like: https://lero.ie/
Suggested changes include:
• Lero logo as a stand along separate to OSPO
• Include SFI Heading (as on lero.ie)
• Include University footer (as on lero.ie)
• Should have footer section (like lero.ie) that includes Funded by SFI, Quick links, Contact and Social Media Links
• Remove text: Welcome to the Lero Open Source Programme Office (Lero-OSPO) just have the introduction paragraph.
• Replace the following text with a heading that is just Our Values - The two core values managed and advocated by Lero-OSPO are:

Create sections / buttons that go to sub pages under the headings "Research" and "Open Source Programmes or Coding or Software" whichever is the correct term. These subpages would then have all of the papers or links to the software / coding available for people to access. For research there is already a long list of papers these could be just moved under the research area. But each listing should link to the paper where people can download / read for free.

This page should be an introduction to what the mentor programme is and how it works. There should then be two sections / buttons 1. Become a mentor - this section should explain the responsibilities and what is expected and have either an application form or an email address that people can contact to apply to become a member. There should be a list of information that is needed from the applicants - for example areas that they can provide mentorship in. 2. Apply for a mentor - this should explain what somebody can expect from a mentor and then have an application form or email that they can contact requesting a mentor. This should list upcoming events - when / where / what and links to register. Should try to have at least two or three by launch in September.

Should we provide some text on what the difference is between a member and a mentor?

Would it be better to create little profiles on the site - image and a paragraph bio - these could then have a link out to the longer bios.

We planned to drop the "Blogs" section (because no one has any plans for writing a blog just for this as of now - current entries are placeholders, feel free to delete them) and replace it with "Training & Resources"

the content currently in the landing page was to be shifted to the "About" page, with the landing page looking a bit more flashy with items required by Alli.

which will include a list of future & past training activities that will be conducted by the OSPO team and also links to some online resources regarding OSPO & Open Source (and possibly some resources from the past training sessions).
