It would be great if only one image were needed to be supplied. If so, then obviously you would have to also supply points on the image to perform the slicing automatically.
I'm also curious if there's a way to make nine patches much more efficient by not having to create several sprites (or does sprite batching take care of it already?) Either way, when loading images in the browser, I found that there is a fixed cost overhead of decoding a single image, so grouping commonly used-together sprites into one image may have other benefits.

Firstly; thanks for doing this plugin for PIXI. It should be very useful for me.
However, I followed the instructions to integrate it in my project and I receive this error "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'bind' of undefined"
coming from this line :
this.onTextureUpdateBind = this.onTextureUpdate.bind(this);

Apparently it doesn't recognize the onTextureUpdate method, but I don't understand why.
Could you look at it?
