The xovis cameras offers to push the following metrics:

1. Line count data
2. Zone occupancy
3. Zone dwell time
4. Zone dwell histogram
5. Sensor status
6. Validation recording

At the moment only 1. "Line count data" is supported, but there seems to be more to extract.

This should be implemented through a plugin system similar to that which is used for storage engines.

At the moment every push is relayed individually. This causes an overhead which could become problematic when the number of xovis cameras goes up.

This could be remedied by introducing a producer-consumer model: The processing of a push produces data and another thread consumes it by sending it to the storage engine.

Ping known cameras or log time since last report (depending on reachability) to enable us to differentiate between a driver problem and an upstream problem.

Convert to a PIP package with automatic conversion to a DEB package.
