dinoSAR

dinoSAR facilitates processesing InSAR data on the Cloud.

dinoSAR is software that enables on-demand processing of single interferograms and sets of interferograms for a given area of interest on the Cloud. Processing is done with ISCE2 Software that is Dockerized and run on AWS Batch. So for now we have dinoSARaws.

Currently, dinoSAR works with Sentinel-1 data, which is provided by the European Space Agency (ESA). dinoSAR utilities for searching for data via the Alaska Satellite Facility (ASF) and setting up processing to either run locally or on the Cloud. Why run on the Cloud? SAR imagery takes up a lot of disk space and because data is being stored on AWS, running on the Cloud circumvents the need to download data. Furthermore, we can take advantage of scalable parallel processing!

dinoSAR enables Cloud-native processing of output imagery by creating Cloud-Optimized Geotiffs with accompanying STAC metadata. You can find examples of postprocessing workflows on the Pangeo website.

docker error response

Describe the bug
After build up and image of isce2 (get the 2.5.2 version) and try to run it by
docker run -it --rm -v $PWD:/home/ubuntu dinosar/isce2:2.5.2 /bin/bash
I get the following
_docker: Error response from daemon: failed to create shim: OCI runtime create failed: container_linux.go:380: starting container process caused: exec: "/opt/bin/fetch_and_run.sh": permission denied: unknown.

I guess it may related to user running the docker, but not sure about ...

Any helps or tips?

Environment information (please complete the following information):
docker --version
Docker version 20.10.14, build a224086

Env. Ubuntu 20.4

Update for ISCE 2.4.0

ISCE 2.4.0 is not backwards compatible (https://github.com/isce-framework/isce2/releases/tag/v2.4.0). Will need to update variable names to "reference" and "secondary", which is a great idea.
