I want to factor:

x^3 + (-4 - i)*x^2 + (1 + i)*x + (6 + 2i) = (x + 1) (x - 2) (x - i - 3)

Edit: Sorry, had a ridiculous typo on the line above in which the factored version was the incorrect version. I've been looking at this stuff too long.

So I enter:

var roots = findroots([6,1,-4,1],[2,1,-1,0]);

and I get:

[[-1.0000000000000009, 2.9999999999999982, 2.999999999999999],[0, -1, 1.0000000000000002]]

This works out to:

(x + 1) * (x - 3 + i) * (x - 3 - i)  =  x^3 - 5*x^2 + 4*x + 10

Am I missing something or is companion-root's factorization just plain incorrect?
