Installation

Run pip install git+git://github.com/Sciguymjm/python-visca.git.

Usage

from visca import camera

cam = camera.D100(output='COM7') # set serial port
cam.init() # initialize camera object and connect to serial port

# Now you can run commands
cam.home() # send camera to home position
cam.left() # move camera to left
cam.right(5) # even adjust speed
cam.right_up(6, 3)

# you can change picture effects
cam.picture_effect_pastel()

# or autofocus
cam.autofocus_sens_high()

python-visca's Issues

Any chance this can do VISCA over IP for some of the newer cameras?

Sony Cameras are now doing VISCA over IP , would be great to be able to control them.

Zoom Increments

Hi,

Nice job on developing this.

I'm having issues trying to get the camera to zoom in increments. I can to a full zoom in 8101044704000000FF and a full zoom out, 8101044700000000FF, but when I try zoom halfway, 8101044702000000FF, it does not move. Any help would be appreciated.
