Are you really using spark?

Well, as far as I think, you are not using spark correctly? Or let's say completely?

There is no configuration in hive-site.xml, but there should be at least hive.execution.engine=spark one. As the default mr is deprecated.

TODO: Correct .bat commands to reflect the same as .sh file

Hi i run cluster.sh and after
Preparing hdfs for hive ...
return error :

Call From nodemaster/172.20.1.1 to nodemaster:9000 failed on connection exception: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
