Installation Guide

Automatic Installation

Download the install_localization.cmd script (Press CTRL + S to download)
Place the downloaded file in the \StarCitizen\LIVE\data\ folder. (e.g. C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\data)
Execute the install_localization.cmd and follow the instructions.

ℹ️ This script will automatically download the latest version of the localization files, install them in the Localization folder for you, configure the user.cfg file.
Launch the game and enjoy the translation!

Manual Installation

Download the Localization.zip file.
Extract the downloaded file to \StarCitizen\LIVE\data\. (e.g. C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\data\)
Create or edit the following file: \StarCitizen\LIVE\user.cfg. (e.g. C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE\user.cfg)

Depending on the language you want to use, add one of the following lines to the file:

Language
Chinese - Simplified	`g_language = chinese_(simplified)`
Chinese - Traditional	`g_language = chinese_(traditional)`
English	`g_language = english`
French - France	`g_language = french_(france)`
German - Germany	`g_language = german_(germany)`
Italian - Italy	`g_language = italian_(italy)`
Japanese - Japan	`g_language = japanese_(japan)`
Korean - South Korea	`g_language = korean_(south_korea)`
Polish - Poland	`g_language = polish_(poland)`
Portuguese - Brazil	`g_language = portuguese_(brazil)`
Spanish - Latin America	`g_language = spanish_(latin_america)`
Spanish - Spain	`g_language = spanish_(spain)`

Save the file and launch the game. 🚀

Updating the Localization Files

To update the localization files, please follow the Installation Guide again.
