wireshark-fritzbox

Extcap module for Wireshark that allows you to run a remote capture from a FRITZ!Box router.

Installation

Read the extcap folder path from "About Wireshark" -> "Folders" -> "Extap path", then execute the commands below:

git clone https://github.com/cardigliano/wireshark-fritzbox.git
cd wireshark-fritzbox
cp fritzcap.sh <extcap folder>

Restart Wireshark and you should be ready to go.

Tshark

It is also possible to run a remote capture from command line with tshark using the fritzdump.sh script. Example:

./fritzdump.sh 192.168.178.1
Enter Router Password:
