Sentiment Analysis of Standup Comedy audio and closed captions.

  • We Quantitatively measured the effect of positive and negative language-use in jokes on the duration and amplitude of the following laughter outburst using Sentiment Analysis, Audio Processing and Statistical Tests.

  • We used Live At The Apollo S11E01 for this proof of concept study.
