I heard that Sonic CD now supports the O3DS. I wanted to test it on mine, but despite all the button combinations and touching the touch screen, impossible to get past the title screen. Did I do something wrong?
The Data.rsdk file is from the Android version. It does it to me with the HW and SW versions.
There should probably be some info in the readme explaining all that. I don't think the exes and dlls would be needed for this, but I'm not 100% sure. I would think the arcs would be needed, though.
Every time i boot it up, it tells me to touch to start but touching the bottom LCD doesnt work as starting the game and none of the buttons work. I know for a fact that it isnt the buttons so im not 100% sure how to load it. I'm on a New 2DS XL
whenever i boot the game it says "The programmer has a nap. Hold out! Programmer!" and then the "An exception occured" screen pops up. Any fixes?
When the New 3DS is set to the New 3DS clock speed, And you start the game, it downclocks the new 3ds to old 3ds speed

The error happens only on the HW version. The only workaround is to have the SW version, and a New 3DS.
I think it should be added to the FAQ in the Readme what exactly the difference is between the HW and SW builds.
The game works perfectly despite the fact it doesnt have sound, I have seen a lot of people too with the same problem and all of them have a New 3DS
do i need to have them as seperate files?
HW version, New 3DS running at old 3ds clock/L2 off, Luma 10.3 (Nutez edition)
When you are in a stage, open home menu with home button, and then go back in the game, the game stutters and runs slowly. Overclocking the 3ds to new 3ds clock doesn't speed it up
The game is out of date and due to it the latest mods just crash the 3ds.
Loading or creating a new save just puts it in a state where there are sprites loaded, the everything just kind of sits there. 3d works though! (has a couple garbage tiles to the left ๐)

The downscaled video is 320x240, while the screen is 400x240, so there is letterboxing. also there are lot of compression artifacts and its blured
so, i took the original version, waifu 2X denoised it, and downscaled it to the 400x240p (stretched version) and 320x240p (letterboxxed version) with nearest neighbor so it isnt so blured

The HW version crashes after few seconds on Black screen
main menu audio turns off after you play the intro movie and never turns back on again unless you start a game or enter time attack.
pausing causes the special stages on the sw version to be smooth and slow
I have an issue with this port since forever but just today I decided to really look it up.
The issue is: Absolute no input works.
All buttons and the touchscreen does absolutely nothing to control anything.
I double checked the settings.ini and they show as:

I know that this implies that no actual input was set. But I tried to replicate the ones from Sonic1/2 and Mania ports but none worked.
Since I can't figure it out the values, can anyone help me with this?
Maybe even share your settings.ini ?
