Tech Tutor

There will be 3 different users: student, teacher, parent. This app will be used for smoother and easier communication between the users. There will be 3 different sign up pages for each user. A unique username (among all the users) should be chosen by the user which will later be helpful in logging in. Many different and interesting libraries and widgets will be used to create the frontend of the app. The features of the app will be:

Teacher can- 1.Add attendance 2.Add marks 3.Upload study material 4.Make announcements 5.Upload timetable 6.Chat with parent 7.Answer students’ doubts

Student can- 1.Upload assignments 2.Check marks, attendance 3.Reading Access to the study material 4.Reading Access to the timetable 5.Ask doubts to the teacher

Parent can- 1.Check their child’s attendance, marks 2.Chat with teacher

Contributing to this Repo

1. Fork this repository.

2. Clone the forked repository.

git clone https://github.com/<your-github-username>/project_name.git

3. Navigate to the project directory.

cd Flutter

4. Creating a new branch (IMP) This is one of the very important step that you should follow to contribute in Open Source. A branch helps to manage the workflow, isolate your code and does not creates a mess. To create a new branch:

$ git branch <name_of_branch>
$ git checkout -b <name_of_branch>

Keep your cloned repo upto date by pulling from upstream (this will also avoid any merge conflicts while committing new changes)

git pull origin main

5. Make changes in source code.

6. Stage your changes and commit

# Add changes to Index
git add .

# Commit to the local repo
git commit -m "<your_commit_message>"

7. At this point you can use the git push command to push the changes to the current branch of your forked repository:

git push origin <branch-name>

8. Create a Pull Request/PR !

9. Congratulations! Sit and relax, you've made your contribution to Flutter repository of GDSC Cummins.
