breaks camera lookaround

The program makes USB pedals appear as a controller, and rudder can be assigned, which is good.
But a side-effect in steam is that the game now behaves as completely controller-focused.
The word view cannot be navigated, and in-flight the cockpit look-around does not work.

cannot make

I want to use my Thrustmaster T-rudder pedals with steam, but when I run the command

$ make virtjs /dev/input/js1
I get the error

I did install libevdev-dev first.
