Currently, a hard limit has been set in the stegano decode process. For better and reliable encoding, it would be better to put a signature in the picture metadata which contains the text checksum and length and also proves that the image has been processed before decoding.

The interface to handle this metadata is http://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/ExifInterface.html but this means that the stegano process must have access to the file.
