If I understand you correctly, you are saying that you would like a single agent to be able to register with the hub to receive jobs with more than just one spec.
Currently, you can solve this by having different agents each with their own spec configuration. Then the hub would match the spec requested inside the job, with a compatible agent.
Can you give a bit more information about why this method would not work for your use case?

Hi Jason,
If I understand you correctly, you are suggesting that we should run multiple agent processes in order to support multiple spec configuration? What we are doing is running the agent in a Windows VM that can support multiple browser through the Selenium runner. Currently, you can only specify one browser spec at a time. If we implement the solution you suggested, that means we would need to run multiple agent processes at the same time on the same instance or multiple VM instances with different spec configuration. The former would allow multiple benchmark running on the same instance at the same time, which we don't want. The latter is not a very good use of our VM resource.
