Merge/Prune All Branches

Ensure that there is on the main branch to allow the repository to look professional.

To Do:

  • review existing branches & determine whether or not they need to be merged
  • merge necessary branches
  • prune/delete old branches

Update Documentation

Updated documentation to ensure the repository looks professional.

To Do:

  • create a README.md
  • add brief description about the project (i.e. research project at NJ GSET 2022) & add it to the GitHub description (located on right hand side near settings wheel)
  • add list of technologies & dependencies
  • add essential links (i.e. link to paper maybe link to symposium recording)
  • describe how someone could replicate your project (i.e. describe how to clone and where all the necessary files are)
  • include the names of all authors

Clean/Organize Repository Files

Ensure that all files in the repository are needed to look professional.

To Do:

  • delete the .idea folder. It's a Pycharm specific file
  • remove unnecessary folders/files
  • make the repository public
  • hide the "Releases" and "Packages" tabs on the side of the repository on GitHub
