It says, if Linux, do one thing, if Mac, do another.

The issue is that the core assumption is incorrect. It's not a matter of Linux vs Mac, it's a matter of BSD tail vs GNU tail. Any Mac user who has run brew install coreutils will be using the GNU version of tail, which lacks the -r switch.

So instead of checking uname, it needs to check which flavor of tail is installed.

The upstream repo for tflint has moved so the plugin no longer works.
I've raised #2 to correct the url of the upstream repo and the Travis build process according to the asdf documentation. Apologies for not raising the issue first.
