XQuartz problem preventing doc knit

Basically I get this error message when I try to knit my essay from Rmd to PDF: [couldn't replicate the error for the purposes of this issue 😅☹️]

I am trying to reinstall XQuartz/X11. Have to restart MacBook too... fingers crossed!

`filter(TaxonLevel == ...)` in `source()` fails ☠️

😰 Just when I got #1 sorted, this pops up when I tried to knit:

Quitting from lines 41-44 (essay.Rmd) 
Error in filter_impl(.data, quo):
  Evaluation error: object 'TaxonLevel' not found.
Calls: <Anonymous> ... <Anonymous> -> filter -> filter.tbl_df -> filter_impl -> .Call

So, I think I must really let my MacBook restart to finish this X11 install. This weird behavior is suspicious as TaxonLevel in this context is always enquosed (sensu dplyr), and shouldn't be a "nonexistent object".

If this doesn't go away, defs using the HWP lab PC tomorrow in the AM... 😤😶
