how does the delay correction work?

if R(end) > R(1) % there is bolus delay

I have read lots of ctp perfusion papers and I know the trace delay exits. Most of the papers say the block circulant svd is delay intensive method so i am confused about the circular shift in bsvd process . How does it work? Is there a reference can explain it? I added it in my algorithm but got strange tmax result in some cases.
