In my spot-tools today, I use rabbitmq to set up a direct/topic exchange which doesn't map to your current pubsub model implementation. I create a each spotcheck notice is marked with a topic today it is new/info/warn based on the nature of change in spot status. Each consumer can choose which of these they care about. Given that difference, I would like feedback on either of the two following options:

1. Don't do topic exchanges. They are terrible. Just keep it simple and do the current pubsub approach. (This is fine response as I am not REALLY using the topics fully today. I like where it could go but could be convinced it is a bad idea.)

2. Topic exchanges are a great idea. Please build that queue type into the library and submit a PR!

Anyway, wanted to start a discussion about that before diving into either approach above.
