jsonresume-theme-swilson's Issues

Add footnotes

Support a "top-level" footnotes field in the résumé that will render (w/ markdown) at the very bottom of the page. I will use this to basically link back to this project from my actual résumé page.

Make sure adding this field is still validates.

Flesh out readme

Put more info in the readme about what this is and why.

Some things I probably want to mention:

  • available query string vars
  • link to my actual resume page
  • added résumé fields
  • which fields support markdown

Compile for client

Compile the pug into a function (and load extra needed libraries), to make the template work in the browser as well. Then, in addition to this "build" working as a theme, I can create a GitHub page that allows you to pass a url to resume json (such as to a raw gist), to "demo" the theme. (default to my resume if one not passed)

Also add a link to said demo in the readme.

Support remainder of JSONResume elements

Currently I'm only showing JSONResume "sections" that I have in my resume.

It would probably be good to support the ones I don't use as well.

  • volunteer (main)
  • awards (side)
  • certificates (side)
  • publications (side)
  • languages (side)
  • projects (main)

Print styles

Need to look into what sort of style changes I need for the print version so when a pdf is created, it looks correct.

The main concern would be how things are split between pages.

Mobile support

Format page properly when viewed on phones.

This probably entails just stacking all the "sections" vertically, and showing some sort of nav menu at the top to easily jump to them. Maybe either the menu could be fixed or show a "back to the top" button when menu is scrolled off screen.

Also, maybe the work "highlights" could be closed by default in this format, but open by default in the wider format.
