Lab 11 Intro to Spring and Thymeleaf

Summary: This lab was our first introduction into Spring and setting up the routes. In this lab I created controllers for /hello and /albums. The default route for albums auto populates 3 hard coded albums and links it to a model which displays the html connected to it.

Lab 12 Spring RESTful Routing

Summary: In this lab we went into implementing RESTful operations into Songr. We created a database using psql which we then connected our controllers to in order to carry out CRUD. So far we have implemented a get request and a post request for albums to be stored in the database.

Lab 13 Related Resources and Integration Testing

Finish time: 6:00pm

Actual time needed to complete: 2 hours

Summary: In this lab we went into connecting databases together. I created a new controller, template, model, and repository for songs and connected them to Albums through a One to Many link. This gives the songs an ID to match to the album which is then held as a list inside of the album class.
