Request Header Parser Microservice

This is a simple microservice that I created. It parses the request you made and returns some data about your device. It is the second project out of five you need to complete in order to get the "APIs and Microservices" certification.

Run Locally

Clone the project

  git clone https://github.com/rkazi103/timestamp-microservice

Go to the project directory

  cd timestamp-microservice

Install dependencies

  yarn

Start the server in development

  yarn run dev

Start the server in production

  yarn start

API Reference

The Useful API Endpoint

  GET /api/whoami

It will return a JSON object containing your device's IP address, preferred languages, and software preferences.
