favicon.ico not appearing

Works in local dev environment but not on GitHub pages

Make links in posts open in a new window

Currently, links in Markdown are being converted to anchor tags without the target="_blank" attribute expression, which I typically find annoying as a user if they are external links. I'm thinking about just fixing this with JS dynamically.

Layout issues on mobile

homepage:
- homepage has white text over a bright area so it's hard to read
- when viewing in Twitter's mobile, homepage text is too scrunched

- H1 text is just too large in the mobile layout
- blockquote text is unnecessarily scrunched
- images are unnecessarily scrunched
- code blocks are unnecessarily scrunched

This could be done with JS by ripping the class name of the pre block to figure out what the language/syntax is.
