Global events are not triggered if the environment is defined simple way. Environments that are defined complex way triggers events normally.

As the title says, ifconfig has been deprecated on Debian in favour of ip

At the moment you can still install it manually, but it may be removed completely in future. Can you add support for ip tool, or add a requisite how to install ifconfig manullay?

When using docker/env dev off it would be cool to have all orphans removed also by adding --remove-orphans to main command. If developer changes some configuration, it will allow him to remove unreachable containers (volumes will remain safe).

Missing full directory structure in complex environment.

When trying to use any of dokman scripts, dockerd daemon should be running. Add the check so we can give the developer appropriate message instead of a lot of errors.

possible check logic:

ps -ef | grep -v grep | grep dockerd

Some variables that are documented as available in scripts, are actually not available. Check all documented ones and make them available.

There is the problem with relative paths as when you define yaml configuration you need to take care in witch folder you are. Some yaml configurations will have context as ./.. and some ./../.. depending how deep services are nested. Unify paths in some way.
