So I found a necklace and was going to try and equip it. But I can't seem to find a necklace slot. I checked curios info, and I'm under the impression that the necklace slot would be added by Age of Exile, using Curios. But clicking the Curios button doesn't show any additional slots. Neither does pressing the default G key to show Curios slots. I suspect this might be a mod conflict with the mod Inventory Tabs, but I really have no idea.
I was holding ctrl when I took the screenshot, so the necklace stats aren't shown.

Setup
Problem
Opening the slotlink storage interface (via remote or block) instantly crashes single player and server
Reproduction
Opening the slotlink storage interface immediately crashes single player and server
Remarks
I understand this is being used in a modpack so it might be other issues compounded, but when using the older version I do not crash with slotlink. However, when using the new version, opening up the slotlink storage instantly causes a crash with an exception to do with "tickspeed" both in singleplayer and on my server.
Because AoE axe weapons don't extend axe item, they
3 isn't necessarily bad, but its something to be aware of if you decide to fix this
When trying to get on a horse the game closes and this is my crash log.

I translated all the lines from en_us.json, but it wasn't enough. I looked at the code, some of the text is just a constant string on English.
Even the words that are already in the localization file are not used. (For example, mmorpg.word.to is specified in the localization file, but the file com/robertx22/age_of_exile/database/data/stats/name_regex/BasicStatRegex.java uses just a constant string).
And there are a lot of such lines, you can look at the several screenshots, but this is only what I managed to find in a couple of minutes.
Another problem is that the localization file itself is made strangely. It is proposed to translate individual words that will be used in the whole sentence. It is impossible to do this correctly. But this problem has already been reported (#44).
I get a lot of errors regarding Age of exile conditions missing. For example:
[09:03:15] [main/WARN]: mmorpg:shiver missing from registry, but requested!

Crash report and log: https://gist.github.com/GuerreroCraft61/51cc1939fd248e5817e6bd7cd5012042
When you put armor not from the mod, or on creative that does not have a rarity in the Gear Modify Station, it crashes the game when you put a Jewel in the table.
Not sure if this is an intentional feature that I can fix in the config (I've checked, but there isn't anything that seems like it is related to it) or a bug, but certain gear don't have auto compatibility applied to them. When I have the "Mythic Metals" mod enabled, anything doing 8+ damage doesn't get the auto compatibility. This is the same for diamond armor and netherite armor, without "Mythical Metals". I'll put my current mods down here to see if it is any of them, as some of the items from the mods don't work too.
I should probably also mention that it affects none of the gear included with the mod.
Hello!
i noticed that whenever i move biomes/areas, it gives me a neato name & area level. thats awesome!
but the bright green text thats constantly in the bottom corner is really irritating... a config to disable this, and/or change the text colour would be awesome.
When used on a common item, the resulting magic item invariably has much worse base stats. For example, my agate ring dropped from 17% base lightning res to 8%. This seems unlikely to be intended, as it makes using the orbs almost always a mistake.
Can you add option in config to configure how many blocks need to area level up, because now I'm only on 500 blocks froms spawn and already is level 12, and on 1000 blocks is level 40 and in server you can't find good biome to build house
In most cases, the spells won't show the projectile shot or part of the spell thrown.
Mod being used alongside other mods, will give modlist if needed.
Equipping an offhand item does not update AoE stats. For example, I have a relic shield that grants me dodge rating, armor, and various elemental resistances. Putting it on has no effect until I change some other part of my kit at which point the shield's stats are noticed and applied. Similarly, I can remove the shield once an update has occurred while retaining its stats. This is short lived as moving the hotbar cursor is enough to trigger an update, but even so it has potential for abuse such as switching the shield for a totem of undying or consumable while keeping the shield's stats.
Reposting this here as well as I wrote the original on the Bewitchment Issues page
Running just Bewitchment and Age of Exile together and fabric api/their dependencies (pictured) I can replicate a bug where I fly out in creative mode and terrain will stop generating suddenly, usually cutting off in a uniform line. Block updates stop as well - placing water will place it on a block but it won't spread. Exiting out of the game once this happens doesn't work normally and I have to kill process through multimc. Sometimes I'm unable to finish world generation as well and it will freeze up somewhere between 90-100%.

https://pastebin.com/j0xQ9CZe
This world was working until I exited the world and rejoined, then I got the same kind of chunk error where they stopped loading in a line.
https://pastebin.com/5y5pC8Me
this one was a straightforward freeze once I'd flown about 1k blocks out:
https://pastebin.com/J9YctVXV
i understand that this is in place to prevent farming, however in my humble opinion it feels unfair, especially on beating the higher level enemies, for my exp to be reduced like this. having a config to disable/enable it, or modify the % loss would be amazing

If you have a server with players that play on it there should be away to determine max level of the Mobs for the spawn region its not fun if a new player runs into an 11k HP zombie. Is there a way you might add that to a future release?
Will there be a version for forge or is this modification only available for fabric ? I am sure that many others would like to see this modification for forge.

My Aternos server stop the server immediately and leave me no warnings. When I opened the crash log, the error said "Encountered an unexpected exception" and mentions "cannot be cast to ...", and "entities.ProjectileEntity" with its actions and components. Unfortunately, I haven't cast any spells during that time.

Issue:
Magic attacks and other skills from Skill Gems do not seem to register mobs as having being hit by their user; as a result mobs that die from Skill abilities before they can be hit by a weapon die without crediting players with any EXP, making progression much harder for anyone trying to play as a mage/caster or other heavily Skill Gem-based build.

I cast one spell in the game and it doesn't work.
It is identified, cost mana but does not work at all, the spell dont do damage and the ender pearl (first spell you start) dont pops up.
Spawning of Fire Mage entity makes my Aternos server to crash. I kept killing that specific entity to stop my server from crashing but still it keeps spawning naturally.
Crash log:
Crash Log.txt
When this mod is loaded alongside its dependencies and Astromine, Astromine's Block Breaker machine crashes the game with a ticking block entity crash report whenever the chunk containing the Block Breaker is loaded, within seconds of it being loaded. This makes worlds unplayable without removing the region file containing the block breaker or destroying it through creative mode or commands within the few seconds in which the game will run. As such, I would very much appreciate if this were to be fixed.

This isn't an issue... but I'm baffled. Where do I find Magic Shield? I'm getting wrecked by cave spiders and it sounds pretty handy.
Today I found out that quests which i've completed before just disappeared.
I've found that if my hp is over 256, when i die it gets reset down to 256
I made a custom modpack that includes most of the same mods for the adventure pack modpack. However, the area levels in the overworld are bugged and are only at level 1 even 500 blocks past the spawn area. How can I fix this? Sorry I'm new to modpack creation
What are the available player GUI types? Currently, is it set to Vanillas and was wondering if there are other types that have been implemented at this time. I am hoping to find something or edit the configuration to work well with RPG-Hud's modern style.
I'm not 100% certain AoE is doing this, so bear with me.
In singleplayer with AoE 1.7.8, I noticed sometimes enemy chickens spawn. But on our test server, I haven't seen any of these enemy chickens spawn. Instead, vanilla passive chickens seem to be spawning. Since they don't despawn, they slowly accumulate, and now our game world is overran with chickens. I don't actually know if AoE is responsible for this, and I'm not sure how to test it. But chickens are the only mob being spawned like this, and I don't think the modpack has any other mods that force new passive mobs to spawn without chunk generation.
It's rather bizarre. Do you have any advice on how I can confirm if AoE is doing this or not?
Upon using all of the mods (and only those mods) that are necessary to use this mod:
A strange thing happens where it loads the game, doesn't crash, but instead just loads then unloads then loads again on the Mojang loading screen of minecraft.
Nice to meet you.
I like M&S and AoE, and personally create and introduce translation resource packs in Japanese and play with them.
However, some sentences and words are input directly into the script, and I can not play with perfect translation ....
Do you have any plans to rewrite the script so that everything can be translated in the future?
I would appreciate it if you could tell me.
Then ...
PS. For reference, I will provide the translation file I made.

Heya. First off, wanna say thanks for the mod. I'm currently testing it in a large-ish 1.16.4 modpack with AoE 1.7.7, and just started multiplayer testing. I have questions, comments, and a minor but annoying bug to report.
The level scaling based on distance from spawn. Is this configurable? The default scaling is.. well terrible. In a multiplayer environment, you can expect players to spawn then set out in all directions. But with default scaling, not even 500 distance away from spawn means enemies 1 shot you, even in a full set of vanilla equivalent armor. I would like to test reducing this scaling to about 1/10th the current amount, then go from there (so enemies seen at 500 distance are seen at 5000 distance instead). I see some config options, but I'm not sure if any of them do specifically what I'm wanting. Found the datapack config option, so I'll be testing it on my end.
I would like to suggest a "Character Reset" button, that doesn't cost anything to activate, but resets "everything", minus your inventory. Many of the spells for example, do terrible damage compared to other spells, or have really bad cooldowns so their DPS really is not very useful. Yet you start with just a handful of reset points, so you're locked in if you choose abilities you don't like or can't use. I could make a recipe for the potion to reset all spells, but I assume it's not craftable for a reason - you'd have people using one setup early game, then switching to another later as their gear progresses, etc etc, changing intended progression. It'd be better if players choosing to reset, reset everything. But as it is, experimenting with the mod is kinda punishing for new players. In Path of Exile, anytime you want to try a new build (or screw up your current one), you simply start a new character. This no cost Character Reset button would serve the same purpose, starting from scratch.
While I'm going to test this myself with KubeJS, I suggest letting low tier gear be crafted without having to grind for loot first (with default configs, you need 2 ore of potential, which means 2 drops with only 7% drop rate - 28 mob kills if you're lucky and get the 2 recyclable gears you want, or you gotta make Newbie Gear Bags and pray to RNGesus). The main reason I suggest this, is early game seems to be the most jarring part of this mod. Items from vanilla (and other mods) quickly lose their effectiveness against Age of Exile leveled mobs, yet we need these mob kills to get actual age of exile gear (unless starter gear is turned on), and starting out we're likely to have nothing. This results in early game deaths/cowering from everything, or grinding to get those first 30'ish kills, assuming you know what to do, even before you can set out and build a base/secure food/do other extreme early game MC activities. In theory some of this might be avoided if a basic low tier set of gear can be crafted without those kill requirements. Perhaps craftable low tier gear that can't be recycled, as to not provide unlimited recycling?
Can specific gear be made compatible with AoE? I noticed the config has an "auto compatible" option, along with blacklists. Is the reverse possible? A whitelist? Or would I have to blacklist every single mod/item except for the ones I want to make compatible? This might actually solve number 3 for me, if I just add some craftable gear from other mods and keep it low tier.
Edit: After further testing with autoCompatibleItems, I do think this would handle my 3rd concern if I'm able to manually add some compatibility that the auto didn't detect.
There's a bug on the skill tree menu where selecting a school from the top, when a selectable perk is underneath the button, will result in accidentally selecting the perk and wasting a spell point. This is soul crushing lol.
Default Spell cooldowns and abilities in general seem pretty bad, when using the default level scaling and mob stat increases. Most have cooldowns so high, they end up not useful and slapping enemies with a sword easily out damages the spells. Is there a reason for this? Also some spells seem like they weren't fully tested or something. Like Magic Bomb and Arcane Comet. Magic Bomb's timer before exploding takes so long, it's extremely difficult to hit anything with it. And Arcane Comet requires a clear sky above the target, so it's rarely usable. Or the Flower spells, with their low damage and 60 second cooldowns, I've never killed anything with one before. Edit: After playing with stat scaling on mobs, spells become a lot more useful once mob stats aren't over scaling to huge numbers.
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Despite the fact that the raw durability numbers of jewelry (rings and amulet) is almost always higher than the armor pieces, jewelry loses durability much, much faster than armor. To the point where you'll repair your jewelry 6 or more times before you even need to start worrying about your regular armor, and this is while enchanted with unbreaking 3 (provided that enchantment affects jewelry, which I assume it does).
Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like jewelry durability buffed somewhat. The fact that its durability is hidden behind another button press in the menu makes the matter worse unfortunately. I have to remember to check its durability on a regular basis, or risk losing a good piece of gear. Hence my general preference to not wear jewelry at all. My preference would be that its durability was similar to armor, so that when you go to repair your armor, you also repair your jewelry, and you're all set for another long bit of fighting.
Additional context
Just seems odd that jewelry durability drops so, so much faster than armor, when armor is what is being directly hit by mobs.
NOTE: Jewelry was encountered and tested only on the Craft to Exile Harmony modpack
Idk why it's happening but it seems that it happens even when i have all the required libraries and mod updated. Maybe it's the fabric version or omething, i don't know
