Linkbot

This silly bot just posts links from the mumble chat to a subreddit, and now to a Slack channel. Does minor special handling for youtube and imgur. Don't expect it to be top quality, it is my goof around project, written in between league of legends games.

Notes

The init is wierd because of two sets of flags, those for our app, and those passed through to grumble, so look in grumbleExtraInit for init.

Get Linkbot

go get -u github.com/robertmeta/linkbot

Example Use

linkbot's Issues

Timestamp not added to link provided by Linkbot

If a Youtube link with a timestamp is given to Linkbot it will return the standard Youtube link without a timestamp.

Last Heard

Add a "last seen" feature that tracks the last time a person spoke in the channel.

Extract and Display Song Info

... do what it says.

Scrolls up on youtube video post... WTF?

Add built in ducking

When bot hears people talking, lowers its own volume

Playlist Support

Add playlist saving, etc, etc not just queueing

Race Conditions Everywhere

Clean up the various race conditions around adding / removing from list.
