we dump a lot of temporary files everywhere. let's not do that

I don't like ImageMagick and I don't remember why I decided to use Wand.

my friend emily had the idea to effect different channels of the image separately. maybe we could separate chroma and luma since a lot of the effects pretty much randomize color. or maybe only bend a certain color band. we can use PIL for this.

these effects often smear the image to the right somehow due to how the BMP image array is organized. let's add an option to rotate the image before and after bending so that the smears go a different direction.
