godot-simple-rpg's Issues

Improve the usage of AnimationTree

I think that there is space to improve the usage of the AnimationTree component for the Actors.

Objects as Scenes

I think that using the Objects as Scenes gives more flexibility to the game and the new tilemap system makes it much easier. :)

Use Tilemap Terrain

It is totally boring to draw maps without using terrain (previously autotiling in Godot 3).

Replace the asset pack

Don't get me wrong here. I think that Mystic Woods is a really nice asset package, but I guess that I want something more, and I'm a huge fan of Elthen's Pixel Art Shop and I like how his sprite looks. I never used it, but... maybe I should give it a try.

Introduce StateMachine

I think that in the future it would be nice to have some StateMachine to be used for the Actors.

Improve scene transition

The scene transition for the level right now isn't perfect. The transition effect is a little bit broken, and the code is terrible. :)
