Before running this app, install meetupr package

devtools::install_github("rladies/meetupr")

then get a meetup API key and set it as an environmental variable

Sys.setenv(meetup_key = "YOUR_API_KEY_HERE")`

The result should look like the screenshot below.

Question: Meetup user counts | Addition or union?

Hi,
I have a quick question regarding how the total number of users are counted. Is it a union set across all chapters (no user tallied twice) or addition of all chapter members. E.g., I'm part of 3 R-Ladies chapters. Does that mean I'll be counted thrice?

popups in regional maps are incorrect

I just noticed that while the global map shows the correct popups, the regional maps all show the wrong cities. I will work on fixing it!

Change the city of remote chapter

Move tables to use the DataTables package

The DT package has more functionalites such as search field and ordering that would be nice to have in our app.

(No) First Meetup (yet)

The chapter support team would like to reach out to chapters which already have a meetup account but haven't had their first event yet. @missaugustina created a plot which shows those chapters along with their age over here: https://rpubs.com/rladiespdx/no_first_meetup

It would be really helpful to integrate this (or something similar) in the shiny app.

ToolTip when you mouse over a city in the map

It would be great to add numbers about the city (similar to the table) when the user clicks on the city.

Generating a PDF/PNG version of the R-Ladies map based on current stats

Thanks for the great package! I was trying to insert a map into my RMarkdown file using meetupr. I ended up using a screenshot. I was hoping to highlight my chapter amidst all other pins. I did this by hovering over the chapter so that the name lights up and then took a screenshot. However, the screenshot generated an artificial blue box (near the selected name) to mark the selection. I could not avoid this. Please see the screenshot below.
E.g.

Is there a cleaner/more reliable way to generate this screenshot programmatically using the meetupr package? Could this be done highlighting a selected chapter too, say East Lansing? That would be very helpful! Thanks again!
