language do not change to Chinese when using Chinese brower.
I find i18n Chinese properties file in war file, Do we need to do some config to show Chinese text?

Did all the steps exaclty as mentioned in the forum but still it is not reflecting.May i know if any additional changes are required? I am sure i have not missed any single step !!

We have a problem where only 4 users including Weblogic are able to save annotation. apart from that for all users there is an error saving annotation

Sometimes when adding comments under "Home" on a dashboard (not selecting any sub component of the dashboard page) the newly added comments "disappear". They appear in the database table (annotation) as expected but are nowhere to be seen in the UI while in BI.

We have a VIP that users would use to connect to obiee e.g. obiee.company.com.

This VIP points to two servers, obiee1:9704/analytics and obiee2:9704/analytics.

ChitChat works ok from either obiee1:9704/analytics or obiee2:9704/analytics, but when a dashboard which uses it is opened from obiee.company.com it appears with "There are no comments on this item". Applying a comment here adds it to the database and is visible from obiee*:9704/analytics but not from the VIP.

The VIP is configured to pass all requests at obiee.company.com/Socialize to obiee1:9704/Socialize or obiee2:9704/Socialize and js files under /Socialize can be seen from the VIP address.

If I click on the "profile" icon from the VIP I get "failure", but I can't find any more details on what the failure is.

Is it possible to make this work from a VIP?

I have ChitChat working with Firefox 60 and Chrome 67, but the behaviour is different with IE 11.1944 and Edge 38.14393.

In IE and Edge, the ChitChat sidebar appears and I can interact with it but at the dashboard level, I get "There are no comments on this item" even though there are comments for that dashboard page. I can add a dashboard comment in IE/Edge, but it doesn't appear even after refreshing the page. The added comment does appear in Chrome/Firefox and I can see it in the database tables.

I can see analysis level comments in IE and Edge without issue. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Sharing Comments through email is not working as expected, all the paramaters in the annotation_content table is set correctly - smtp server,user,password.

when sharing if both subject and email address is provided than its failing with error in the socialize log
ERROR AnnotationController - Email failed
ERROR AnnotationController - false

when only address is provided with no subject than it is showing as successful

in both cases no mail is sent.

Can you please guide what might be causing the issue

profile not getitng loaded, it throws failure. We trying configure in obiee 12c.
