Getting Started

Instructions for setting up the project for development and deployment purposes.

Prerequisites

Necessary softwares for the project.
1. Latest display drivers.
2. Microsoft Net Frame Work.
3. Microsoft Visual C++ Redistribution Package 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015.
4. Microsoft Visual Studio with Windows 8.1 SDK.
5. Epic Games Launcher.
6. Unreal Engine Version 4.19. 7. Download the static portion from https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cRelpvNQNvSdPSvm0P6KEljJ7Fg0Qmi6/view?usp=sharing

Installing

Perform the following steps
1. Right click on Project_Bytes.uproject file, select Generate Visual Studio project files.
2. After generating files, Open Project_Bytes, Right Click on _ Solution'Project_Bytes' (2 projects) _ and click on Build solution.
3. [Optional step to save C drive space] Open Project_Bytes.uproject and click on Project Settings, find and change Derived Data Cache location from C drive App Data to anyother folder. Derived data cache keeps the shaders which will be compiled and takes a lot of space.
4. If you did step 3, then restart editor. Now, click on launch. It will launch the project. This will take some time as it will compile shaders. Wait until it finishes.
5. Once the project launches that means the project has generated the required files and is now ready for work. It is possible to skip step 4 and work on the project. But it is better to launch the project first to compile shaders.

Packaging

Package project by finding the option under Files -> Package Project -> Windows -> Select 32 / 64 bit.
