Said blog is an anti-QAnon and general anti-cult site, not a proponent of those things. (It also hosts a copy of a 1972 paper on cults by Colin Campbell otherwise rare online, which is how I ended up finding it.)
I also have some suggestions for things to add, but I guess that's best dealt with separately.
Hi,
Consider adding these following sites to your conspiracy blocklist:
worldtruthvideos.website
dailyarchives.org
dailystormer.cn
There are websites that have contributed to the recent NY shooting by spreading conspiracy theories.
I have checked : https://github.com/antifa-n/pihole/blob/master/blocklist.txt,
Like you propose on your readme file, but it seem it not maintained (or at least updated as many as yours),
i think i can be a good idea to integrate (and dedup) this list (who has not been updated since 10 months to your).
I'm not sure it's what you want it's why i open an issue and not a pull request.
Found several more worth considering to add to the list:
I don't know if you also add sites in other languages than English. If you do, you might want to consider adding

Why do you have a large number of legitimate VPN and proxy services in the block lists?
These services have plenty of legitimate uses (bypass geo-restrictions for streaming services, check prices elsewhere, privacy from nosy ISP or public WiFi, bypass nation-state or company imposed censorship, etc) that have zero reason to be blocked in what is supposed to be a blocklist for QAnon, conspiracies, and fakenews.
Yes, one could argue that a VPN or proxy could be used to bypass this blocklist to still reach those very sites, but that becomes a game of whack-a-mole for blocking each VPN or proxy provider, and there are already lists out there for exactly this purpose.
In my opinion this is overreach and beyond the scope of this blocklist. If you want to block bypass methods, either use one of the existing lists out there, or put it into it's own blocklist separate from the main list.
Although epik.com
provides domain registration and hosting services to some websites that are blocked here, it shouldn't be listed as they provide services equally to anyone (they are not an exclusive qanon-only service provider).
Hey, thanks for creating this list! I've also 👍'd your request to add it to NextDNS. Would be great to get this added to filterlists.com to be more easily findable. Additionally, I found https://github.com/antifa-n/pihole which was last updated months ago and maybe worth comparing against to pull any missing domains.
A couple other sites worth considering adding:
Hi I stumbled upon your list a couple weeks ago, now that I'm considering to deploy it, got this question.
What license is this project using? I myself am a strong and passionate proponent of FOSS (so excuse me the following nitpicking :) and to my understanding a failure to include any legal license defaults the work to a proprietary license, basically "all rights reserved." This makes any at scale deployments problematic, especially when we are talking about anything but private environments; making PRs and publishing changes etc.
Now I understand it was probably never your intention to impose any restrictions upon anybody wishing to use your list (correct me if I'm wrong), but I'd be happier (and have fewer questions asked) if this was set in stone with a FOSS-type license (we're on Github after all). Not least because I consider to deploy this list for my users (as well as for my own sanity and less wasted time on these sites).
Couple years ago the anti-fascist MIT license had been making the rounds, sounds like a perfect complement for this occasion.
What are your thoughts and what's the general usage terms until then? Thanks
I don't know what happened but the quality about french list is questionable.
I didn't go into the whole listing about the french websites but some recent updates make no sense.
The principle to this list is
An anti-fascist domains block-list of QAnon, conspiracy, fake news, far-right and discriminatory websites.
And we have some official french government website like
Political (or related to political) middle-right/right website
All this are clearly unrelated to conspiracy, fake news, far-right and discriminatory websites.
It's more opinion from an individual and should NOT be in that list.
Can we take times to clean the french listing?
Do you need any help from French people?
What does Newsmax have to do with QAnon? It certainly isn't far-right, conspiracy, Nazi related, or fake news. This is a site with a moderate Right/Conservative bias (in terms of U.S. politics).
A Dec. 2019 editorial review of Newsmax's web content determined the site has a Lean Right bias. AllSides now rates Newsmax's opinion section separately, as its bias differs significantly from its news section. Prior to Dec. 2019, AllSides rated Newsmax overall as Right. While Newsmax publishes a magazine, AllSides provides media bias ratings for web content only.
During our Dec. 2019 editorial review, a multipartisan team of reviewers found Newsmax's bias mostly lies in its story choice, primarily featuring stories that are generally of interest to conservatives. However, as the time of review, Newsmax did feature some stories that may be of interest to those on the left, such as a story about Michelle Obama praising Greta Thunberg. Our reviewers evaluated the types of bias Newsmax displays and found the outlet does not add a lot of spin to its stories nor is its word choice sensationalist; Newsmax's bias largely lies in its story choice. Notably, the site features a substantial amount of news reports from wire sources AllSides rates as Center, such as Reuters and the Associated Press.

It appears as though the domains (discord.com and discordapp.com) for Discord (the popular chat app primarily designed for gaming and similar communities) may have been incorrectly included in these blocklists.
While Discord does have the potential to be used by hate groups (as does any social media platform), their community guidelines specifically disallow this sort of behavior (emphasis mine):
- Do not organize, participate in, or encourage harassment of others. Disagreements happen and are normal, but continuous, repetitive, or severe negative comments may cross the line into harassment and are not okay.
- Do not organize, promote, or coordinate servers around hate speech. It’s unacceptable to attack a person or a community based on attributes such as their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or disabilities.
- Do not make threats of violence or threaten to harm others. This includes indirect threats, as well as sharing or threatening to share someone’s private personal information (also known as doxxing).
...
In my experience, Discord also includes a good selection of options to allow both server moderators/admins and individual users to moderate their own experiences on the platform (such as banning and blocking users).
If there is a reason that Discord has been included in these lists, I would be interested to know as my experience with the app has been quite positive overall and i have not yet seen or heard anything about the app that would suggest that it has anything to do with QAnon, conspiracy theories, fake news, or nazis.
I assume these are accidental as shell.us and bp.com aren't included on the list.
these website are filled with true news and fake news at the same time, so it's up to you to add them or not but in comment we see many conspiracy theory :
agoravox.tv
damocles.co
agoravox.fr
edit : i have checked them manually
bvoltaire have a new domain name (to try bypass blocking of fake news lists) it's "boulevard-voltaire.fr".
the old domains must remain listed since used too.
Commondreams.org is a pretty hardcore progressive site and does not belong on a no-qanon blacklist. Please fix.
sapo.pt is a well-known services provider in Portugal. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SAPO_(company))
Hello,
Thanks for this list !
it's possible to add an ADB syntax version ?
For using it in AdGuard home or any adblocker.

dailykos.com is a pretty hardcore lefty website. It does not belong on a no-qanon blacklist and should be removed, please fix.
So I have found 4 sites so far that are progressive or leftist sites that are on a no-qanon blacklist. I am starting to get the feeling that this list is not well maintained nor is it trustworthy.
The Advocate is an LGBTQ news source with a liberal lean. It is explicitly critical of QAnon and conspiracism, so I think it should be removed from this list.
Your list currently blocks nypost.com
and www.nypost.com
, which is a legitimate news source. Please remove it from the list.
Hi, first of all thank you very much for your hard work <3
I just noticed that the host t.me
is blocked and I wanted to know if this was a false positive or if it was intentional (since QAnon groups are pretty active on Telegram). I was unsure, since other Telegram hosts are not blocked?
