Omni žodynas

Šiame projekte rasite šiuolaikinę sąsaja Omni žodynui (http://led.ot.lt). Kadangi originalus dar 2006-aisiais suprogramuotas žodynas su šiuolaikinėmis naršyklėmis neveikia, o pasinaudoti juo retkarčiais norisi, užgimė idėja pabandyti sukurti jam naują sąsają. Ją rasite index.html faile, o įdiegtą – adresu http://lietuvybė.lt/led/.

Šioje saugykloje esančiais failais galite naudotis savo nuožiūra, tačiau visą su jų naudojimu ir platinimu susijusią atsakomybę prisiimate sau. Konkretų saugyklos failams taikomos licencijos tekstą (anglų kalba) rasite faile LICENSE. Atkreipkite dėmesį, jog ši licencija taikoma tik šioje saugykoje esantiems failams (išskyrus failus, kurių licencijavimo sąlygos nurodytos jų viduje). Pačiam Omni žodynui (tiksliau, LED žodynui) yra taikoma visiškai kitokia licencija, ir į paties žodyno autorystę šio projekto autorius nepretenduoja ir nesikėsina.

This project holds an updated interface for the web-based dictionaries available at http://led.ot.lt/. Unfortunately, the original interface doesn't work with the latest browsers, so this project is an attempt to work the problem around.

Obviously, the licensing terms in the LICENSE file apply to the files in this repository only (except where the file itself says differently). The author of this project is not claiming any copyright over the original dictionaries or other projects that are used by this project (such as Twitter Bootstrap, jQuery etc.).

Clean translation output when a new word is entered

Clean out translation output if user enters new word, now old content is shown.

For example, user selects "Vokiečių-lietuvių" and enters word schwimmen, then user decides to get translation for other word, ie. laufen, but system still shows translation for previous word.

Of course we can discuss if current implementation is a useful feature or can be improved as described above.

Checkbox for "svepla paieška" in Google Chrome

Checkbox for "svepla paieška" is not on the same row as dictionary selection box in Google Chrome browser.

Implement caching

Try to implement result caching if browser has such capability (off-line storage?). I'm not sure if it's legal, this needs to be clarified. Anyway I see that browser makes requests for the same word, maybe this can be improved.

Translate error message when input field is empty

Translate error message "Please fill out this field." to Lithuanian (if possible) which is shown when input field is empty.

Sveiki,

gal kas nors pamenate, kada paieška veikė paskutinį sykį?

Žinau, kad led.ot.lt web-aplikacija (Java-based) šiemet buvo išjungta (kartu su kita sistema).

Norėčiau ją išgelbėti ir iškelti kitur, bet matau, kad .war failas teužima 1.733 kiB. Spėlioju, nebus taip, kad žodžių paieškai ji naudojosi išorine DB.

To atsekimui padėtų žinojimas, kada vėliausiai paieška dar veikė.

Display progress circle

Display progress circle to the end user, because now it's hard to understand if system is doing anything or not.
