AT A GLANCE
This library is not a substitute for profiler. However, when it's impossible to connect with profiler (production/customer site/whatever),
tracker provides a great insight on what your application is doing right now, your applicative call stack, 
how much time it takes, what the most called methods are, etc. etc.

Tracking data can be accessed programmatically via TrackerFactory. The library also provides a JMX which shows tracking data:

HOW IT WORKS
Tracker is using load-time weaving to instrument classes with methods you choose to track.

To incorporate tracker in your application:
1. Specify a javaagent. For example: -javaagent:<your lib dir>/org/aspectj/aspectjweaver/1.6.7/aspectjweaver-1.6.7.jar
2. Annotate the methods you wish to track with @Monitored
3. Configure your AOP (see AOP section below)

See tiny demo application (org.drift.tracker.DemoApp) example. You can configure sleep intervals via VM args for your convenience.

You can also track methods programmatically. See the org.drift.tracker.examples.AbstractPerfMonitoringFilter example.

AOP
Configure your weaving in aop.xml by adding
	<include within="<your-package-name..*" />
section to aop.xml

If you use Spring, annotate MonitoringAspect class with @Component.
You will probably need to adjust the library to your Spring AOP configuration. If it's a standard proxy-based AOP,
you're good to go and can even throw away the aop.xml.

Spring also provides its own instrumentation agent.

LOGGING
The library is not integrated with any particular logger. Choose any logger you like and add pieces of logging, for example in org.drift.tracker.aop.MonitoringAspect:45
